Out of Network Information
Heather Stackus Counseling and Consulting, LLC does not participate with insurance. We are out of network or can offer an out of pocket rate. We suggest you call your insurance before the initial intake session to see if you have out of network benefits and if so, how much will it cover. It is not our responsibility to seek out insurance information for you.


Cancellation Policy
We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Client is responsible for entire session fee if the change is made in less than 24 hours.
Superbills
HSCC will provide clients with a monthly "superbill" which is a document that has specific service codes, dates of treatment, and fees. Clients then submit superbill to insurance for reimbursements.
Simple Practice
HSCC uses a HIPAA compliant medical record called Simple Practice that holds all of our client's mental health records. Clients receive a link to their client portal where they fill out personal information and can access invoices and superbills.
Stripe
Simple Practice uses a credit card processing system called Stripe. Before intake, clients upload their credit card information and is charged at the time of each session. Your therapist will only have access to the last 4 digits of your card and it is completely secured.
